Celebrating Independence Day with Handmade Workshop & Bazaar at Mall Ciputra

Indonesian Crafter bekerjasama dengan Mal Ciputra Jakarta mengadakan bazaar dan handmade workshop untuk memperingati Indonesian Independence Day.

Bazaar berlangsung dari tanggal 16 - 25 Agustus 2013 di Center Court Mal Ciputra Jakarta di Lower Ground Floor.

Tenant yang berpartisipasi ada 15 tenant, semuanya handmade stuff.
Miss Chesie juga akan buka lapak di booth nomor 3 bareng brand ilovecha

Beberapa tenant yang akan ikutan buka lapak ada Strawberry Hitam, Sibebo, Keiqu Design, IloveCha, Kreasi Craft Corner, Ayaran, D'Fiends Craft, Dilises Felt, deLuniQ, KnitKnot, Be Creative, Lemonz Craftproject, Rina Oshibana, Anggitsa Flower dan masih banyak lagi.

Selain bazaar, kita juga ngadain kelas workshop, jadwal dan tutornya bisa dicek di bawah ini yaa..jangan sampai ngga datang, nanti nyesel lho..:)

Mari kita kobarkan semangat kemerdekaan dengan membuat hasil karya "buatan tangan" sendiri..hehehhehe..bahasanya agak kurang pas ya kedengerannya..ngga papalah..yang penting..MERDEKA !

Holiday Workshop with Indonesian Crafters : - Making Luggage Tag -

As written in my previous post..Indonesian Craters held a holiday workshop last June, and we were making luggage tag from fabric and duplex cardboard with Mba Irma Anggraini from Be Creative.
It was such a cool project, because some of us, including me are dying to know how to make our own luggage tag..and at some time we contact one of crafter who is like the "specialist" in making luggage tag, but apparently and unfortunately, she had a busy schedule so we never got a chance to learn from her.

But thank god.. mba Irma is ssssooooo nice and she spare her busy schedule to teach us how to make her version of luggage tag.

And the surprise is the workshop that we attended will be featured on Annisa Magazine for August edition !
I'd said yyyeeeaaayyy..
That would be awesome because more people will notice and know about Indonesian Crafters and our activities.

My Favorite Shop on Etsy

Etsy is an e-commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items as well as art and craft supplies with the same conditions handmade or used goods/vintage. Etsy sellers range from hobbyists to professional artists who use the site to make a living. According to artists who have developed their Etsy stores into their primary jobs, scaling up production of handmade items can require more than full-time work, especially during the holiday shopping season.

I am positively sure all of crafters are well known with Etsy and have some favorite shops there.

Miss Chesie on Family Guide Magazine

Actually, this coverage was last year, i forgot that my key chain was featured on Family Guide Magazine on September 2012 edition.

When i cleaned up my room i found the magazine and when i re-read it, i saw my felt key chain on a Favorite section of the magazine and i went to scanned them first before i lost the magazine again.
I am such a mess with stuff.

Doodle Pouch for Milis Popok Kain

Few weeks ago, Mba Sitha Puspita from Milis Popok Kain contacted me because she was interested to buy some of my doodle pouch for souvenirs for members of her community.

I was kinda gobsmacked because i was so surprised that someone adore my doodle ( i can't say that they were a drawings, because to be honest, i can't draw at all ! )

Mba Sitha said that she was interested on my doodle because it was drawn on kain belacu and it suits with her Milis Popok Kain who wants to educate people to use cloth diapers instead of manufactured diapers on hyper stores and to act more friendly with the earth.

I didn't got a chance to take pictures one by one of my doodle pouch..because i kinda late with the deadline and I just compiled them on the table and click..click..and then sent them away to shipping company.

Indonesian Crafters Holiday Workshop

This week, our handmade community Indonesian Crafter will gathered a holiday workshop at one of our member resident in Bintaro.

We're going to make "Luggage Tag" with our tutor Mba Irma Anggraini from Be Creative.
And to adding the fun, we have a big surprise for those of you who join this workshop.

Although this workshop is being held by Indonesian Crafter, non member of the group are allowed to join the mess..hehehehe...we can make a beautiful mess together !

So make sure you don't miss the event..
